The County of San Diego, Department of Environmental Health has been advised by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) of a recall of Beef Packers Inc ground beef products. Beef Packers is taking this action as a precaution following investigations that determined there is an association between the ground beef products and Salmonella illnesses reported in Colorado. At this time, there have been no reported illnesses in San Diego County related to these recalled products.
Below is the USDA website that lists the recalled products. Consumers with the recalled products may return the products to their local retailer or discard them to a secure trash container.
